Shaun Lane recently visited the headquarters of ALAND, a major partner, for a special screening of his documentary, Out of My Lane. The film chronicles Shaun’s journey of self-discovery during his off-season travels across Europe in 2024, featuring interactions with various sports professionals, including Socceroo Matt Ryan.
ALAND played a significant role in supporting the documentary, serving as the “Presenting Partner” for its release. The film was broadcast across the club’s channels and on 9Now. The staff screening at ALAND HQ was part of an initiative to support Men’s Mental Health Month, where Shaun also took questions from the staff afterwards.
Andrew Hrsto, ALAND’s founder, endorsed the initiative and emphasized the importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace. “As a construction company with a predominantly male team, we understand the need to talk about male mental health. The shocking statistics around male suicide in Australia are a call to action, and open, honest conversations about mental health challenges are the first step in reducing these numbers,” Hrsto stated.
