What Are Physical Signs of Jealousy in a Relationship?

Jealousy is a common emotion in relationships, one that can manifest in a variety of ways—both mentally and physically. While emotional signs of jealousy such as insecurity, resentment, and fear are often discussed, the physical symptoms are less frequently highlighted. One of the most immediate physical signs of jealousy is an increased heart rate. When someone experiences jealousy, it often triggers the body’s “fight or flight” response, which is the same reaction activated during moments of fear or danger. A less obvious but common physical sign of jealousy is dry mouth.
