How can college students cultivate a healthy love psychology?

It is not uncommon for college students to fall in love now, and it is no longer necessary to be sneaky. However, due to the constraints of junior high and high schools and the freedom and openness of universities, many college students are also confused. They yearn for love, but due to lack of correct guidance, they also caused many tragedies. Now let’s discuss how college students can cultivate a healthy love psychology from the perspectives of concepts, behaviors and coping methods.

  1. Establish a correct view of love
    (1) Understand that love is a kind of mutual understanding, mutual trust, and a responsibility and dedication. Understanding the other party is to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere for the individual and the other party. No one chases love just to be restrained. Mutual trust is an expression of self-confidence. If you don’t believe that you are worthy of others’ love, will others love him wholeheartedly? ?Responsibility and dedication means personal moral cultivation, which is the basis for obtaining noble love. (2) Correct the relationship between love and career. College students should put their career first, put the relationship between love and career right, and can’t spend their precious time talking about love and relaxing their studies. Because academics are the main pillar of college students’ sense of value. When the female university regards love as the only thing in life, love is a flower in a greenhouse, delicate and beautiful but can’t stand any blow. When love becomes the only existence value of a woman, she herself will lose the independence and charm of her personality, and it is easy to lose the reason to be loved.
  2. Develop healthy love behaviors
    (1) Treat each other as equals and respect each other in the process of love. Don’t use your own strengths to compare the other’s shortcomings, so as to show off and elevate yourself, and tease and degrade the other party. It is also not advisable to try to test the other party or put on airs, which may dampen the other party’s self-esteem and affect the feelings of both parties.
    (2) Be generous in love behavior. Generally speaking, when a man and a woman fall in love for the first time, they often feel shy and nervous at the beginning, but gradually become more natural and generous with the increase of communication. During this period, you should pay attention to your behavior. Some people are emotionally impulsive and make intimate actions prematurely, which makes the other person disgusted and affects the normal development of feelings.
    (3) Love talk should be elegant, pay attention to the beauty of language. In the conversation, be sincere and frank and natural. Don’t put on airs and pretentiousness in order to show yourself; don’t be rude, foul language, or be rude; Otherwise, it will only make it disgusting and hurt feelings.
    (4) Be good at controlling emotions and act rationally. Sexual impulses caused by love, on the one hand, should pay attention to restraint and regulation, on the other hand, pay attention to transfer and sublimation, participate in various recreational activities, talk more about study and work with lovers, and limit love behavior to social norms, so as not to deviance , to make love develop along a healthy path.
