That’s a smart way to talk at work

It’s not just skill and hard work that get you ahead. Sometimes the skill of speaking is also very important.

Knowing the art of language can make your career smoother, know how to say the right thing at the right time, can make your success twice the result with half the effort, and sometimes can even make you rich and famous. So, how should you speak in the workplace?

This phrase is used when you have just learned that a very important case has gone wrong.

If you rush into your boss’s office immediately to report the bad news, even if it’s not your job, it will only make your boss question your ability to handle the crisis, which may lead to a scolding and anger on your head.

So you should say this sentence pattern in a voice that doesn’t have an emotional impact. Don’t panic, don’t use words like problems or troubles. Make it sound like you’re going to be on the same side as your boss.

Speaking skills two: I immediately deal with in the encounter boss summons calm, quick to make such an answer, will make the boss think you are effective, obedient good subordinates;

On the contrary, a hesitant attitude will only annoy the boss who already has heavy responsibilities.

This phrase applies to when a co-worker came up with a brilliant idea that even the boss praised, and you wish you could think faster than he or she did.

Rather than pull a long face and secretly unhappy, steal his light.

Here’s how: Say it while your boss can hear you.

In a society where everyone wants to get ahead of the pack, an employee who is not jealous of his or her colleagues will be viewed differently by his or her boss as a good-natured team player.

If you find a male colleague’s dirty talk annoying, this is a guaranteed way to shut them up.

Men do sometimes like to talk dirty, but you can’t tell if they mean it or not. This sentence can make the unintentional people know that enough is enough.

If he does not shut up, that is sexual harassment, you can report to the person concerned.

I know this is important. Can we look at the work at hand first and prioritize the most important ones?

This phrase applies when you have too much work to do. Instead of working overtime to accept it, say no now.

First, emphasize that you understand the importance of the task, and then ask for instructions on how to prioritize your new task versus your old one.

Quietly let your boss know that your workload is heavy and that something will have to be put off or transferred to someone else if you have to.

Thank you for telling me that I will consider your suggestion carefully. It is really a distressing thing when the result of my painstaking work is revised or criticized.

You don’t want to show your dissatisfaction on your face, but you do want to let the person criticizing your work know that you’re getting the message.

Being assertive makes you seem more confident and worthy of respect, and shows people that you’re not headstrong or vulnerable to setbacks.
