Why preschool children are prone to mental disorders

When parents educate their children, they often pay too much attention to their basic necessities of life and intellectual education, but neglect the cultivation of children’s psychological quality. Relevant researchers have conducted research on children’s psychological quality and found that children’s psychological barriers cannot be ignored. Recently, some researchers conducted a sample survey on 5-6 year olds, and the results were surprising: 15.72% had bad temper, 4.84% had eccentric personality, 28.33% had neuroticism, 9.02% had behavior problems, and 2.86% had poor social interaction. , mood disorders accounted for 10.33%, low energy accounted for 0.66%. In addition, there are partial eclipse, speech retardation, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive phenomenon and so on. How do these phenomena come about? The reasons for the psychological disorders of preschool children

  1. The influence of prenatal education. Many mothers now listen to prenatal education tapes to their fetuses, but it has been found that some young children are deaf due to inappropriate auditory stimulation. The fetus should have a quiet growing environment and should not be disturbed for no reason.
  2. Not affected by crawling training. Now two-thirds of urban children lack crawling training and use walkers prematurely. When infants and young children crawl, they will try their best to raise their heads, and the coordination of limbs and hands and eyes will be trained. Children who have no crawling experience lack the training of sensory integration. When they grow up, they may not be able to concentrate and write homework too slowly.
  3. The impact of the lack of formal education. Children who have entered kindergarten are lively, cheerful, easy-going, disciplined, and polite. On the other hand, children at home are too shy, afraid of meeting people, and have difficulty adapting to unfamiliar environments.
  4. The impact of compulsory learning. Now some parents consciously let their children memorize poems, dictionaries, maps, etc. Some experts believe that these mechanical memory training should not be carried out before children are 3 years old. Children are in the process of brain development. Before the age of 3, they should focus on developing children’s adaptive ability, language ability, imagination, etc., rather than mechanical memory.
  5. The influence of educational methods, such as parents doting and accommodating their children, make children form pride, selfishness, willfulness and other bad characters; the other is to use beating, scolding, scaring, shutting and other education. In particular, the inconsistent parenting attitudes of parents will cause children to have psychological problems. In modern society, parents usually have to work and children are handed over to the elders, and the elders are extremely protective of the children. When parents think that their children have done something wrong or done something they shouldn’t do and educate their children, the elders will protect the children very much, which will cause the children to rely on the elders and ignore the reprimands of the parents. Because they have shields and are not afraid of their parents. At this time, parents and elders should have a unified attitude towards their children. This allows him to establish the correct concept.
  6. The influence of family atmosphere. The worse the family harmony is, the worse the children’s mental health. Discordant families or divorce of parents make children overwhelmed, or lose the care they deserve, and it is easy to form abnormal psychology such as inferiority complex, depression, eccentric personality, and impatience.

Families that are likely to cause psychological abnormalities in children include the following:
1) A discordant family. Husbands and wives often have conflicts over trivial matters in the family, the light ones are noisy, the heavy ones fight, or because one parent is irritable, domineering, and discord among family members. There is no sense of joy in the family, and the children feel depressed and become timid and trivial.
2) Disorderly families. Parents do not pay attention to their behaviors in front of their children, talk without measure, behave too intimately, and convey “sexual information” to their children intentionally or unintentionally, which leads to the premature initiation of sexual awareness and sexual impulses in children. If parents’ educational guidance measures cannot be followed up in time, children may embark on the road of crime.
3) A family with no self-respect. Parents have serious selfishness, love to take advantage, steal things, be arrogant and protect the short, and disrespect the elderly, etc. When children are influenced by this, they will develop a bad character of being narrow-minded, cunning and selfish, and worrying about gains and losses.
4) Incorrupt families. Parents have a certain amount of power, or have social skills, but they are not clean and self-disciplined, often bribing and bribing, and their lives are extravagant and wasteful. Children are prone to indulging in indolence, snobbishness, and profit-seeking behavior.
5) Unenlightened education. The parents’ cultural quality is low, the family has no cultural atmosphere, seldom communicates with the outside world, and the educational concept is closed and ignorant. Children in such families are unresponsive, ignorant, conservative, and lack innovation.
6) Unhealthy families. In single-parent families or families where one parent is not at home for a long time, children are prone to develop withdrawn and eccentric characters, and in severe cases, there will be distorted and abnormal psychology.
