This is the “job burnout” that comes quietly with the increasingly fierce competition for jobs and the deterioration of workers’ health.

The issue of job burnout has received much attention in recent years.

Burnout can be episodic, cyclical, and one of the most obvious symptoms is “procrastination” — a desire to wait until the last minute to finish a job.

The mid-30s are usually the peak period for job burnout, especially for those who have achieved a certain level of success at work.

According to the survey, from the perspective of industry, teachers, doctors, media practitioners and office white-collar workers engaged in the prevalence of mental workers is relatively high;

From the perspective of personality, people with the courage to explore and meet challenges, strong independence, and higher requirements for themselves or others are also prone to fall into job burnout.

The PHYSIOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY OF THE PERSON THAT PRODUCES “JOB BURNOUT” CAN APPEAR WAVE PEAK AND WAVE TROUGH, JOB BURNOUT PERIOD AND THE PHYSIOLOGICAL CYCLE OF THE PERSON ARE THE SAME, HAVE CERTAIN LAW TO FOLLOW.

Why the burnout phase?

The reasons are as follows: 1. Subjective reasons (1) the long-term superposition of work pressure or frustration.

Around the age of 35 after years of struggle, in the career of a small success, to a certain extent, “high power”, the increasing pressure of work, coupled with the emergence of new people on the “high” caused certain pressure, so that the “white bone jing” people especially put on the “red shoes”.

Some psychologically fragile “working old people” hold a strict guard mentality, a lot of things personally or all things under their own hands.

The long-term work pressure and the long work front let the complicated things come one after another, disrupted the original decisive and orderly work rhythm, changed the original clean and neat work style.

Work is not smooth, will continue to give people different procedures of frustration and blow, people doubt their ability, self-confidence gradually reduced, and constantly for their own failure and ineffective work to find excuses, fatigue and anxiety.

(2) Comparison mentality.

Workers in their mid-30s and 40s often expect to be paid more than others.

When working for a long time, the communication and contrast between working partners, partners and even competitors will also increase.

When I see people with similar experience and ability and high salary, I often feel lose face, imbalance, lose common heart, complain more and more, and gradually develop from fluctuation to imbalance, depression, lose enthusiasm for work.

(3) There has been little progress or development bottleneck in the past few years.

The special development stage of Chinese enterprises has created good opportunities and created a large number of young elites and backbone, but with the development of enterprises and social progress, higher requirements are put forward for ability.

On the one hand, the employees with excellent performance in the past are still immersed in the pride and pride of the past, and on the other hand, they have to face the gap and confusion of inability to improve their ability and work.

It is difficult to adjust to the multiple pressures of enterprises (society) and families for a long time in the face of the glorious performance in the past and the current development bottleneck, and I feel psychologically tangled and exhausted.

2. Objective reasons (1) Repetitive work content.

The repetitive work content is lack of new ideas, with the continuous improvement of personal ability to cope with the work, every day with the same mode of thinking, the same method to deal with the problem, the work becomes boring, the achievement is no longer excited.

Even if the development of the enterprise has higher requirements on the working ability of employees, if there is a lack of correct guidance, employees will be motivated to improve their professional level, resulting in boredom, irritability and low spirit.

In addition, if you work for a long time in a job that you are overqualified for, you will become bored.

(2) Negative factors in operation and management exist for a long time, and some remaining problems cannot be solved for a long time.

Due to the lack of communication, understanding and ideological work, employees gradually think that the company’s system is not conducive to their development;

Some of the leaders’ principles and behaviors make their working environment worse and worse, and there is no sign of improvement.

Negative factors, remaining problems and contradictions are not solved for a long time. Such management will gradually reduce employees’ trust in the enterprise, departments and leaders, which will lead to doubts about their career choice. Long-term psychological relief and satisfaction will lead to psychological imbalance, resulting in anxiety or depression.

1. Revisiting Your Job The way to rekindle enthusiasm and passion in an employee’s work starts with revisiting the job description, says organizational psychologist David Gavich, Ph.D., a professor at the Harvard School of Public Health.

If the cause of job burnout is the confusion of enterprise management and unclear job responsibilities, HR should start with business process sorting and re-analyze the job.

If the enterprise does not have a standardized business process, it may be helpful to establish a standardized business process standard text prior to job analysis.

2, change the way of thinking can not always think of failure, people and computers are the same, when we go to the computer to search, knock into the “success” two words.

Will find all success-related topics, websites, web pages, all searched out, you can see all success-related content.

If you type in the word “failure”, the computer will search for all the web pages, websites and websites related to failure.

When a man’s mind asks a good question, it gets a good answer.

You ask bad questions, you get bad answers.

It’s time to focus on the strengths and choose what you should choose.

Look at the positive side of the problem, can be generated optimistic mood;

But when you look at the negative side of a problem, it creates pessimism.

But a lot of people can’t help but choose to be pessimistic, so you have to learn to control your way of thinking to regulate your emotions.

3, appropriate to vent depressed mood will only cause problems more and more, and mood since is one aspect of people’s life, you should make it a proper performance opportunity, happiness, anger, sadness, joy, and a variety of emotional person will be, so don’t also can’t all be suppressed, and should choose the appropriate way to vent.

For example, you have a certain stage, meet challenges, deal with a lot of pressure.

Then you can relax a little, called a relaxation, the way of civil and military, you can relax a little, stretch the mood, you can go to see a movie, you can go to find a place to drink coffee, you can also find a very happy person, chat with him, you will get relaxed.

Or through sports, travel, talk, etc.

4, Keep your life regular and orderly life will keep your mind clear and feel good every day.

It is necessary to clean your desk before you leave the office every day and regularly clean your computer for files and emails.

The mere sight of a desk full of reports, memos, and letters to be answered is enough to create confusion, tension, and anxiety.

In addition, don’t underestimate family life.

Success in business is often directly related to family life.

A leisurely morning and a good breakfast may determine your mood and productivity for the day.

No one thinks turning up to work disheveled and hungry will set the mood for the day.

5. Get enough sleep. Getting enough sleep can help relieve fatigue during the day, and only enough sleep can keep people active.

If you are a mental worker, it is rarely because you work too much that you are tired. Most of the time we are tired not because of work, but because of worry, tension or unhappiness.

Try to “fake” your enthusiasm and interest in your work. Answer every call with a smile, say “great” when your boss tells you to work the weekend, and give yourself a pep talk every morning…

Don’t think of it as superficial.

This is a very important “cue” in psychology.
